Deer and Doe Ondee

Hello! I finally got some sewing done this past weekend. I made all three things I planned on making so I was definitely productive! One of the things I made was this top. It’s the Ondee sweater by Deer and Doe. It’s my first pattern from this company and I am very happy with it. It came together very quickly and the instructions were easy to follow. I made the long sleeve version with collar but there are also options for short sleeve and no collar.

I found this soft knit at Joanns that has stripes on one side and polka dots on the other. I thought it would be fun to mix patterns for this top. I noticed this fabric also comes in black and white. I am definitely thinking about picking some up for another project. I’m getting more and more comfortable sewing knits. I recently started using a walking foot on my machine when I sew knits and it has made all the difference!

Have you tried any patterns from Deer and Doe?
