Tuesday night after dinner I decided to make something to wear on Thanksgiving. I managed to make this Brooklyn skirt in just a few hours (cutting included!) It was so satisfying to make something in one evening. I bought this fabric years ago. It’s a brown tweed with a rainbow of colors running through it. It’s so beautiful! I’ve been waiting for the perfect pattern for it.
This is is a really great pattern. The skirt has a nice swing to to it and has a really nice shape. I will definitely be making more of these. I paired it with a sweater from a Target.
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. I survived working Black Friday and am looking forward to a relaxing weekend at home. I picked up some more fabric today so I’m sure I’ll be stitching up something.
