New camera!

I’m so excited because we bought a new camera! It’s so much better than the one I was using. I definitely have a lot to learn since I haven’t used an SLR before but luckily Michael knows what he is doing so he can teach me.

We went for a walk on a nearby nature trail to test it out. I try to go for a walk everyday. Fall is my absolute favorite time. The trail was so beautiful with all the leaves changing.

I wore my Seamwork Astoria I sewed and a vintage skirt. I accessorized with a fox pin I made and some loafers.

Simplicity 8294

Here’s a peek at this dress I finished today. I’ve had it cut out on my sewing table for nearly a month and finally sat down the other night to start on it. I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out and I am hoping to wear it tomorrow! More photos to come.
