I can’t believe it’s been FOUR years since I’ve stopped blogging. I have been thinking about starting again for a while and I’m happy to finally sit down and write a post.
First up, a little bit about myself. My name is Erin and I am living in a small town in New Jersey with my husband Michael. I work full time as a visual merchandiser but my passion is sewing- something I hope to share a lot of on here!
I made this top with the Astoria pattern from Seamwork Mag (which I LOVE. If you sew and haven’t heard of it, look it up!) I used to be so afraid of sewing knits but I’m feeling pretty comfortable with them now. This gingham knit is from Joann Fabrics. This top came together pretty easily and I definitely plan on making more for the transition into cold weather.

Oh hi! I was just searching up Astoria inspiration, and here you are! Lovely photos and welcome back to blogging!
Thank you so much! Happy sewing!
